AirPcap
Developed especially for Wireshark and still innovative: the USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Adapter for Windows. The helpful device does not only allow recording of data frames but also that of management and control frames important for troubleshooting and security.
Thanks to the USB technique, several adapters can be actuated parallely (like, for example, channel 1 and 7 and 13). This makes it possible to record in different or all WLAN channels simultaneously.
For mobile analyses, e.g. of roaming problems, the AirPcap adapters can be fastened to a notebook.
